The Sex Pistols are an English punk rock band formed in London in 1975. Although their initial career lasted just two and a half years, they became culturally influential in popular music.

The band initiated the punk movement in the United Kingdom and later inspired many punk, post-punk and alternative rock musicians, while their clothing and hairstyles were a significant influence on the early punk image.

"Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols" (often shortened to "Never Mind the Bollocks") is the only studio album by the English punk rock band the Sex Pistols, released in 1977.

Due in part to its notoriety, and in spite of many sales bans at major retailers, the album debuted at number one on the UK Album Charts.

It is frequently listed as the most influential punk album, and one of the greatest and most important albums of all time.
