A clip from the short-lived television program Roy Acuff's Open House, filmed in Australia during 1959. According to legend, Acuff's Open House was filmed in Sydney, 1959, after a disastrous tour of Australia with Australian Tex Morton. on country music. The tour was cancelled, so Acuff made this series at TCN 9 Sydney. The series had a brief spotty run in the United states before disappearing completely.
