I also really love Eva Cassidy's cover of this song. She gave me the inspiration to play this song. Kathy's song was featured on the album called 'Sounds of Silence'. Sounds of Silence is the second studio album by Simon & Garfunkel, released on January 17, 1966. The album's title is a slight modification of the title of the duo's first major hit, "The Sound of Silence", which originally was released as "The Sounds of Silence".[2] The song had earlier been released in an acoustic version on the album Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M., and later on the soundtrack to the movie The Graduate. Without the knowledge of Paul Simon or Art Garfunkel, electric guitars, bass and drums were overdubbed by Columbia Records staff producer Tom Wilson on June 15, 1965.[3][4] This new version was released as a single in September 1965, and opens the album.

This video is part of a completely new Episode of my Bedroom Sessions. The video quality has had a great boost because my roommate was so nice to lend me his new Sony A6500 camera. It records in 4K and I absolutely love the quality. Also I have learned to use my own new equipment better. The Manley Reference Cardioid sounds a lot better with my new shure A15AS attenuator. I also really love the sound of my Neve Ams 1073DPA. It took me a long time to decide what gear I should buy. I have watched plenty of 'Preamp vs no preamp' and 'Manley Reference Cardioid vs Neumann U87AI' videos etc. Also I have been a lot on forums like Gearslutz.
After every buy you realize that you are never done with buying gear lol. In the future I also wanna buy mics like the neumann U87, Lawson L47, Flea 47, Neumann U67, Neumann U47, Telefunken U47, Sony C800g and the AKG C12.
