Description
The battle of Fitjar occured in 961 when Harald Bluetooth of Denmark sent the remnants of the Norwegian pretender rebels as well as the Danish army to the island of Stord to kill the Norwegian king. Without a proper army, and only his personal guard to protect him, the Norwegian king fought outnumbered 6:1 against the invaders for the fate of his realm.
