I make no apology for re-uploading this hauntingly beautiful and glorious recording once again using a much better condition disc (still quite worn I am afraid) than four years ago. Many consider this duet to be one of the most moving in all opera. I understand the original recording was made acoustically in 1924 and then over-dubbed electrically in 1932. It is indeed very special.
