Division S are here again - and this time they don't drink alone.

As always, the Italians have an unhealthy obsession with alcohol, as is testified not only in the name of the album and many of the tracks, but also the music. There is a psychedelic, outlandish weirdness to be found in the weird atmosphere and feel of this music. What to call it? Tags one often finds attached to Division S ring hollow and untrue on a deep level, despite being superficially suitable. Yes, there are elements of neofolk; perhaps krautrock isn't quite off the mark; neo cabaret, what is that even?; experimental - definitely!; post-industrial... well, maybe mostly by the larger musical context.

Division S are Division S, simply. Weird, disjointed, oddly enticing. Combining lounge retro-flavoured lounge pop with sleazy crooners and hauntingly dark, sensual jazzy passages, they stand alone.

But they don't drink alone. On this album they are joined by Naevus and Bain Wolfkind on several tracks, who both lend a bit of their unique touch without diluting Division S's unique drunken, sensual, nihilistic essence.
