Description
'Cheers' might have been cancelled in its first season (the September 1982 premiere was 74th out of 77 shows) but NBC gave it time to catch on and it ended up running for 11 seasons and birthed another show that ran 11 seasons: Frasier. A critical favorite 'Cheers' made several TV Guide 'Best of All Time' lists and won 31 Emmys. The theme song ('Where Everybody Knows Your Name') is by Gary Portnoy and Judy Hart Angelo.
