“Put an end to all plague and violence, famine and captivity…” - Singing this prayer during the final hour of N’ilah last year was very meaningful and I’m grateful to composer Elliot Weiss for his new interpretation of this text. What are your plans for the High Holidays this year? While in-person seating is limited due to public health concerns, Park Avenue Synagogue is committed to offer meaningful moments for anyone with internet access. We will continue broadcasting services live from our main sanctuary as we have been doing throughout the pandemic. Our team has spent the summer preparing for the holidays and we are looking forward to making this year particularly special. I’m excited about singing both familiar and new melodies with you, accompanied by members of the Metropolitan Opera Brass and a Chamber Orchestra. Services are free and all are welcome. I can’t wait to experience the High Holidays with you! In the meantime, Shabbat Shalom
